TrueNet Privacy Policy

TrueNet is a Shopify application operated by PocketNori Studio. This Privacy Policy explains how TrueNet accesses, uses, and handles information when merchants install and use the app.

1. Information TrueNet accesses

TrueNet uses Shopify APIs to access order and financial transaction information necessary to provide its reporting features.

This may include:

• Order identifiers and order numbers
• Payment and capture transactions
• Refund transactions
• Transaction dates
• Payment gateway information
• Transaction amounts and currencies
• Payment processing fee information when Shopify makes it available

2. Customer personal information

TrueNet does not request access to customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, or shipping and billing addresses for its current functionality.

3. How information is used

Shopify data accessed by TrueNet is used to provide financial reporting features such as:

• Collected payment totals
• Refund totals
• Known payment processing fees
• Net Collected calculations
• Transaction history
• CSV exports requested by the merchant

4. Data storage

TrueNet currently reads order and transaction information from Shopify when the merchant uses the app. TrueNet does not maintain a separate database copy of customer, order, payment, or refund records for its reporting functionality.

Authentication and Shopify session information may be stored as necessary to securely operate the application.

5. Data sharing

TrueNet does not sell merchant or customer information. Information may be processed by infrastructure providers only when necessary to host, secure, and operate the application, or when required by law.

6. Data retention and deletion

Because TrueNet does not maintain a separate copy of Shopify order or customer records, there is normally no such local data to delete.

When Shopify sends an applicable privacy or shop-redaction request, TrueNet processes the request and removes locally stored shop session information where applicable.

7. Security

TrueNet uses Shopify authentication and access controls and takes reasonable technical measures designed to protect information processed by the application.

8. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when TrueNet's functionality or data practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
